Week 16: Tender Mercies & Icy Roads

Hey guys!

Well greetings from the land of 80 inches of snow to the land of 80 degrees! haha This week went by super fast! I can’t believe that this transfer is already half way over. It’s really crazy how fast time flies out here. Before you know it I’ll be in the mission home waiting for you guys to arrive!

Here are some updates from this week!

1. First off my companion and I got into a car accident this week due to icy roads. NOTHING SERIOUS! Just a fender bender.

2. The guy we visited last week is a less active member in our ward. He wanted to meet with us because he wants to get his life back on track! He’s a nice guy and we got him to commit to coming back to church! :) The work is slowly hastening on. We are starting to get our teaching pool running again. The holidays and the super bowl really slowed us down. It’s the worst time to go tracting! We have been helping a family move that has been investigating the church so hopefully we can start teaching them again soon.

3. We got another less active member to come to church yesterday! Her name is Sister D. She has been less active for a long time and it’s been hard to get her to come back to church. She’s hesitant for whatever reason. We have stopped by multiples times to extend an invitation for her to come to church and she finally said yes! And she actually came! It’s so amazing to see the Lord’s tender mercies in softening people’s hearts.

Overall this week has been pretty good besides our little car accident! lol I’m just glad everyone is ok.

I love and miss you all very much!!

Elder P.

PS I’m jealous of the weather back home lol
